NOVEMBER, 2005

• November 25 -- West Springfield, MA -- Six month old "Java" - K'Mander Just Desserts - took Reserve Winner's Bitch in the NEFCRC Supported Entry at the South Windsor Kennel Club show under judge Mrs. Carole A. Beattie

• November 24 -- West Springfield, MA -- "Snitch" - K'Mander Informant - took Reserve Winner's Dog at the South Windsor Kennel Club show under judge Bud DiDinato. 

• November 24 -- West Springfield, MA -- Six month old "Java" - K'Mander Just Desserts - took Reserve Winner's Bitch at the South Windsor Kennel Club show under judge Bud DiDinato. 

• November 5, 2005 -- Bloomsburg, PA -- "Jackson" - K'Mander Just Before The Deluge - owned by Eric and Ellen Kamp was awarded Best of Opposite Sex in Puppy Sweeps at the Back Mountain Kennel Club show under breeder/judge Mr. Martin Archambeault.  This show was a FCRSA supported entry sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Flat-Coated Retriever Club.

OCTOBER, 2005

• October 15, 2005 -- Augusta, NJ -- "Logan" - K'Mander Island Runner - owned by Margaret and Terry Uminsky - took Winner's Dog and Best of Breed  for 1 point at the Palisades Kennel Club under judge Mrs. Christina Hubbell.

SEPTEMBER, 2005

• September 11, 2005 -- North Branch, NJ -- "Logan" - K'Mander Island Runner - owned by Margaret and Terry Uminsky - took Winner's Dog and Best of Winners for 2 points at the Somerset Hills Kennel Club under judge Dr. Donald Sturz Jr.

 AUGUST, 2005

• August 27, 2005 -- West Springfield, MA -- At the NEFCRC Supported Entry, "Logan" - K'Mander Island Runner won his 9-12 month class at the Newtown Valley Kennel Club show under judge Mr. Per Iverson.  Littermate "Snitch" followed him with a second place ribbon.

 JULY, 2005

• July 30, 2005 -- Hartford, CT  -- "Junie-B" - K'Mander High Road To Valhala (CH Rainbow's  Autumn Classic x CH FowlPlay Wing K'Mander) owned by Marla Doheny and Kurt Anderson won Winner's Bitch,  Best of Winners and Best of Breed under judge Dr. Elliot More.

• July 30, 2005 -- Hartford, CT -- "Snitch" - K'Mander Informant won Winner's Dog, and Best of Opposite Sex at the Newtown Kennel Club Show under judge Dr. Elliot More.

• July 10, 2005 -- Wrentham, MA - - "Snitch" - K'Mander Informant won Winner's Dog, Best of Winner's and Best of Breed for his first 2 points at the Naugatuck Valley  Kennel Club show under judge Sheila DiNardo.

• July 3, 2005 - - Wrentham, MA -- "Junie-B" - K'Mander High Road To Valhala (CH Rainbow's  Autumn Classic x CH FowlPlay Wing K'Mander) owned by Marla Doheny and Kurt Anderson won Winner's Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Breed at the Wampanoug Kennel Club show under judge Dr. Elizabeth Trainor.

• July 3, 2005 -- Wrentham, MA - - "Snitch" - K'Mander Informant took Reserve Winner's Dog at the Wampanoug Kennel Club show under Judge Dr. Elizabeth Trainor.

MAY, 2005

• May 21, 2005 -- Oyster Bay, NY. -- 8 month old  K'Mander Island Runner ("Logan") (Am/Can BISS CH K'Mander Black Diamond Bay JH WC x CH K'Mander HasTo Be FowlPlay) owned by Margaret and Terry Uminsky took Reserve Winner's Dog and Best Puppy at the Ladies Kennel Association of America show under judge Dr. Jose Luis Payro.

• May 14, 2005 -- Woodstock, CT  -- K'Mander Informant ("Snitch") took Reserve Winner's Dog at the Windham County Kennel Club show under judge Dr. Donald Sturz.

APRIL, 2005

• April 24, 2005 -- West Springfield, MA -- 7 1/2  month old  K'Mander Informant  ("Snitch") (Am/Can BISS CH K'Mander Black Diamond Bay JH WC x CH K'Mander HasTo Be FowlPlay) won Reserve Winner's Dog (3 pt. major entry) and Best Puppy in Breed at the Springfield Kennel Club show under judge Dr. Anthony DiNardo

FCRSA National Specialty - Perry, Georgia.  April 4th - April 8th

Due to my judging the sweepstakes classes at the Specialty, none of our K'Mander pups were entered in the sweepstakes competition.  There were a couple of notable placements in the regular classes:

• April 5, 2005 -- Perry, Georgia. -- 7 month old  K'Mander Island Runner ("Logan") (Am/Can BISS CH K'Mander Black Diamond Bay JH WC x CH K'Mander HasTo Be FowlPlay) owned by Margaret and Terry Uminsky placed 3rd in the competitive 6 - 9 month puppy dog class under judge Nancy Liebes. 

• April 7, 2005 -- Petersfield Willow Switch, bred by Pat DeBree & Mary Farwell. Sired by  "Murphy" - (Ch K'Mander John Wesley Harding) x Ch Flatford Petersf'ld lift-Off. and owned by Mary Ann Abbott & Keith L. Leak earned a 1st Place ribbon in the American Bred Bitch class.

• April 8, 2005 -- Perry, Georgia.  "Zach" (CH Cabochon Middle Of The Night CD (CH Huntlane Purdy at Birdmark SH WC x CH K'Mander Element of Surprise))owned by Eric Kamp and Susan Stilwell "made the cut" in a very competitive "Best of Breed" competition under judge Nancy Liebes.

MARCH, 2005

• March 27, 2005 -- Edison, New Jersey. -- 6 month old  K'Mander Island Runner ("Logan") (Am/Can BISS CH K'Mander Black Diamond Bay JH WC x CH K'Mander HasTo Be FowlPlay) owned by Margaret and Terry Uminsky went Winners Dog and earned his first point!!  Congratulations!!!
