May 4, 2008 -- West Windsor Twnsp, NJ -- "Freyr" - Valhala's God of Sun and Rain - owned by Kurt Anderson- won Best of Opposite Sex Puppy from the 9-12 month puppy sweepstakes class at the Mid-Atlantic Flat-Coated Retriever Club supported entry under judge Jane Boraczek.  Freyr went on to place 2nd in the 9-12 month puppy class in the regular classes under Australian judge John Burgess.

NEW TITLE!!  May 4, 2008 --  Abbotsford, British Columbia -- "Chance" - Am/Can CH K'Mander Jumping Jack Splash TD,SH, Am/Can WC, WCX  (Am/Can CH Eagletarn When The Levy Breaks Am/Can CD/JH/WCX , Am WC  x CH FowlPlay Wing K'Mander) owned by Peter and Beth Snow earned his Senior Hunter Title (SH) at the Golden Retriever Club of BC Hunt Tests under judges John Hatfield and Lynn Saunders.

April 19, 2008 -- West Springfield, Massachusetts -- "Freyr" - Valhala's God of Sun and Rain - owned by Kurt Anderson- won Winners Dog for 3 points from the 9 - 12 month puppy class  at the Pioneer Valley Kennel Club show under judge Mrs. Nancy Liebes

April 7, 2008 --  Albany, Oregon -- "Chance" - Am/Can CH K'Mander Jumping Jack Splash TD,JH, Am/Can WC, WCX  (Am/Can CH Eagletarn When The Levy Breaks Am/Can CD/JH/WCX , Am WC  x CH FowlPlay Wing K'Mander) owned by Peter and Beth Snow earned his first  Rally Novice leg at the 2008 FCRSA Specialty under judge Carl Lentz..

April 5, 2008 --  Gervais, Oregon -- "Chance" - Am/Can CH K'Mander Jumping Jack Splash TD,JH, Am/Can WC, WCX  (Am/Can CH Eagletarn When The Levy Breaks Am/Can CD/JH/WCX , Am WC  x CH FowlPlay Wing K'Mander) owned by Peter and Beth Snow earned both his Working Certificate (WC) and Working Certificate Excellent (WCX) at the 2008 FCRSA Specialty Field Events.

March 22, 2008 -- Edison, New Jersey -- "Logan" CH K'Mander Island Runner - owned by Margaret and Terry Uminsky won Best of Breed at the New Brunswick Kennel Club under judge Carol S. Brown

March 15 - 16, 2008 -- Fitchburg, Massachusetts  -- "Freyr" (Valhala's God of Sun and Rain) had a successful weekend at the New England Sporting Group Association shows.  On Saturday "Freyr" won his 6-9 month puppy dog sweepstakes class under judge Maureen Day.  Later in the afternoon "Freyr" placed 2nd out of 4 in the regular classes.   On Sunday, Freyr placed 2nd in his 6-9 month puppy dog sweepstakes class under Chessie breeder/judge Robyn Haskin and later won his 6-9 month regular class and went on to be awarded Reserve Winner's Dog from an entry of 12 dogs under judge Mrs. Marion Lyons.

March 15 - 16, 2008 -- Louisville, Kentucky -- "Buck" (K'Mander Rose Island Renegade) placed fourth on Saturday and third on Sunday from the Open Dog class at the Evansville and Louisville Kennel Club Shows.  (more details to come).

February 24, 2008 -- Suffern, New York  -- "Jackson" - CH K'Mander Just Before The Deluge - owned by Ellen Kamp and Kurt Anderson- won Best of Breed at the Rockland County  Kennel Club show under judge Col. Joe B. Purkhiser.

February 24, 2008 -- Suffern, New York  -- In his very first show,  "Freyr" - Valhala's God of Sun and Rain - owned by Kurt Anderson- won Winners Dog for 2 points from the 6-9 month puppy class  at the Rockland County  Kennel Club show under judge Col. Joe B. Purkhiser.
